Observ is a legal design agency on a mission to bring clarity to complexity, by applying design thinking to legal operations globally. Observ was founded by two experts from law and design in collaboration to make legal services understandable, engaging, and helpful for not only lawyers but the general public and business operations. In our first year, we worked across four continents, with governments, law firms, NGO's and global brands to improve legal accessibility.

Dot. consultancy is the spin-off of Dottir Attorneys. At Dot. I focused on building the law firms' internal design capabilities and lead client-facing strategic design projects. We combined a cross-functional team of the diverse skill set of design, law, technology, and research to design engaging, understandable, and accessible legal services, products, and operation models.

At Dottir Attorneys I started as a freelance Design Consultant, developing the law firms' strategic design capabilities. After six weeks of consulting work, I was hired full-time Strategic Design Consultant. Now I was able to work in more close collaboration with the lawyers designing better legal deliveries and provide more user-centric legal services and products for our clients in Europe. Soon after, in March 2018, Dot. Legal Design Consultancy was founded by Dottir to focus fully on legal design work in the law firm.

At N2 Comms I worked as a Strategic Designer in multinational strategic communications projects and social impact design. We collaborated with our clients to crystallize their business, get it public, engage in social debate and influence decisions. We integrated strategies, ideas, and practical measures. We worked with global innovations, tech leaders, governmental organizations, and NGOs.

With Susanna Kivioja & Milla Vaahtera, we created a new well-curated platform for Finnish artists, designers, and craftsmen to exhibit and sell their unique pieces globally. We saw great talent and unique designs in the Finnish art community, but a lot of it was collecting dust on the shelves or draws in an artist studio. We wanted to change this by making small-series unique designs and art accessible for all. UU Market is a collective effort and every artists is a part of forming the culture around the platform.My role was to focus on the business design, user-experience and brand strategy of UU Market.
