I am part of the incredible team at the Good Food Institute, using food innovation and markets to reimagine protein. I oversee the corporate engagement team’s industry intelligence and initiatives to catalyze market-side innovation to transform the food system and deliver alternative protein products that compete on the key drivers of consumer choice: taste, price, and convenience. Our work helps set the agenda for the most high-impact market and consumer research to accelerate the adoption of alternative proteins and map the commercial landscape for plant-based, fermentation-enabled, and cultivated meat. I have previously worked in strategy, marketing, and communications in the architecture and design industry as well as the health education and access sector. I'm also a founding member of Climate Up Close (www.climateupclose.org), an outreach group that changes the conversation on climate change by bringing climate scientists to talk to the public face-to-face. As a champion of ideas and storytelling, I have also served as Chief of Curation at TEDxCarnegieLake and Founder at TEDxCortland, helping speakers identify, evolve, and express their ideas worth spreading.I have BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Cornell University and have had a handful of short stories, poetry, and photography published in literary journals and magazines.
