I was brought on to help with the influx of positions within the Fletcher Building group. Fletcher Building have approximately 35 businesses and the recruitment team take care of positions across the board; including, marketing, administration, customer services, finance, trades and technical. My role was split into two. I was looking after roles from start to finish as well as supporting the team with their requirements.

I was in the Global Division, focusing on relocating NZ and Australian based Senior Professionals to the Middle East and North Africa. I worked in Partnership with the Middle Eastern based teams (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman) and focused mainly on the following GCC countries; Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. I recruited for both Contractors and Consultancies and work on positions from Graduate to Project Director Level. I also worked on the following positions; Project Engineer, Construction Manager, QA/QC Engineers/Managers, Q.S, Contract and Commercial Managers. The main projects I focused on where; traffic and transportation (including tunnels, rail and roading), water and waste water, oil and gas, MEP (infrastructure and Building services). I worked with up to 15 consultants (Middle Eastern based) and could have up to 50 vacancies at any one time.
