About Emma Morris

I’ve always been a writer. From a very young age, I’ve had a fascination with the written word, which only grew while attending a fine arts high school for creative writing. After a quick detour through an undergraduate degree in political science, I fell into the world of nonprofit communications. I am passionate about helping organizations tell their stories through digital communications, social media, marketing and design. I love the variety that comes with nonprofits comms, and thrive on learning new skills, platforms and techniques to help organizations do more with what they have. As part of my love of learning, I also completed a Master of Professional Communication at Ryerson University where my SRC award winning research focused on self-care in feminist non-profit organizations.
