I have worked within the public sector for the past 6 years, during that time I have worked within the strategy directorate and the business & industry directorates at One North East. Specifically, I worked within the Strategic Economic Change team which was responsible for leading on economic development in the North East region. Among this I have assisted upon the innovative work of the Wind Farm and Electric Vehicle Programmes. A key element of my role was to be the interface of the team, working with the region’s businesses, inward investors, local MP’s and Ministers. I have a passion for working and learning, and am always fully committed to work whilst trying to achieve other objectives, an example of this is achieving a first class honours degree whilst working full time.
