Emma has 2+ years experience working in contemporary art galleries/museums and with artists. She is an adaptable arts professional who is quick to solve complex problems and finds a creative solution in a high stakes environment. Emma June Jones is also an artist from Chicago, IL who lives and works in New York, NY. She has a BA in Visual Communications with a Minor in Art History at Savannah College of Art and Design. Jones’s focus is on distorted contemporary figure paintings made in oil; they examine internal battles young women face in today’s social and political climate. Her paintings mold bodies in a collapsed space while emphasizing the external environment, fashion, and symbolism to reflect contemporary issues. The physical composition features multiple figures, portraying a sense of movement, transitioning from a collective portrayal to a singular figure, often accompanied by animals symbolizing inner emotions.
