Implemented strategies to blend national distributed and digital organizing programs; advised on mobilization strategy for different organizing programs throughout the campaign, including ballot access efforts and distributed GOTV.• Worked with the national organizing team to advise and coach on the use of digital organizing tools and tactics in states across the country to engage supporters and recruit new volunteers.• Partnered with email, SMS, P2P and dialer teams to execute effective and forward-thinking mobilization strategies during SC and NV’s GOTV efforts.

Designed and oversaw a comprehensive statewide digital program to increase caucus participation and mobilize supporters across the state; managed a team of 3 staff to implement innovative digital organizing and social media strategies.• Built and implemented an unprecedented relational organizing program using the Reach app, wherein 1,458 volunteers mapped their relationships with 4,967 friends and family members to persuade them to support Sen. Warren and participate in the caucus. During this program, volunteers contacted nearly 10,000 caucusgoers across the state. • Planned and executed in-state voter contact programs on mobilization channels, including 1,223,657 total mobilization and direct voter contact texts sent. Our rate of engagement was 9.10%, with a 5% rate of support conversion across campaigns.• Oversaw in-state SMS program which grew to almost 50k subscribers, using nuanced strategies like a/b testing, liquid personalization and mdata to grow and engage our list.• Managed the digital organizing platforms for organizing staff, building digital tools, tactics and training and curriculum into our state organizing program in unprecedented ways.• Designed statewide social media strategy, growing dedicated audiences to drive the narrative of our campaign and mobilize our supporters; created and oversaw Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat accounts.

Conducted A/B tests to increase efficacy of texting language and conversations.- Managed programmatic ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat; utilized voter databases to create custom 1st party audiences, tested bidding and targeting strategies, and created custom creatives for ongoing A/B tests.- Managed a suite of digital organizing tools and vendors, including MobilizeAmerica (used to schedule 14,236 volunteer shifts), developed the use of Snapchat as an organizing tool for campus organizers, oversaw management of 55 Facebook Groups with 11,527 total members, and integrated tools like Hustle and VoterCircle into our broader Campaign strategy.

• Increased Democratic voter turnout in the Southeastern region of Virginia Beach in the 2017 election cycle, played an integral role in the citywide flip to blue for the top-of-ticket for the first time in twelve years, increasing Democrat vote share from 2013 by 4.9% across the region, and helped flip a targeted red-to-blue district for Delegate-elect Kelly Fowler.• Built and maintained a base of 48 unique volunteers who canvassed more than 13,000 doors and made more than 12,000 volunteer recruitment calls. During GOTV, volunteers who completed more than 200 shifts led to an additional 14,000 doors knocked.• As Regional Digital Lead, provided insight on best practices for other organizers and fellows for using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our texting tool, Groundgame.

As a Sexual Misconduct Advisor (SMA) at Kenyon, I served as a peer resource for students dealing with issues, incidents or other concerns falling under the umbrella of Title IX. Along with the other members , I underwent training to handle and respond to a myriad of crisis situations, as well as providing on-going support to students facing these kinds of issues. As an SMA, I was well-versed in the language and applications of Title IX on a college campus.

As an upperclassmen counselor, I assisted in welcoming the freshman (Class of 2019) to Kenyon's campus in the fall. The students in my small group indicated that sociology falls within their field of interests. My responsibilities included:-Reaching out to the students in my small group over the summer, in preparation for the coming school-year, to answer any questions or concerns they may have. This will took the format of hand-written postcards, Facebook messages, or other methods of communication.-Being knowledgeable in the online course catalogue and able to assist the incoming freshman in choosing and registering for classes, a process that can sometimes be overwhelming and frustrating, especially for students new to Kenyon.-Being a source of emotional and intellectual support for the students as they acclimate to their new life in college, answering questions about any and all topics they might be curious about.-Continuing to be a resource throughout the school year, including registration for classes for the spring semester, scheduling activities and other small group meet-ups throughout the year to check in on my group of students and provide support, resources and other help needed for their academic success and emotional wellbeing.

As an intern at the firm of Salo & Walker, was independently responsible for the completion of a comprehensive archival project, the contents of which spanned 40 years of a highly-respected and successful estate planning and administration boutique law firm. This position and project required vigilance to detail, the ability to multi-task effectively and aptitude in Excel and other administrative resources.

As a fellow for the Ohio Together coordinated campaign in Knox County, I worked with the field organizer in my area to run phone banks, organize volunteers and engage with our community by registering voters and holding weekly policy chats, as well as meet and greets with our local candidates. As a coordinated campaign for the presidential, senatorial and local elections in November, our outreach spanned across multiple media and community platforms.

The John W. Adams Summer Scholars Program in Socio-Legal Studies is a highly competitive undergraduate socio-legal research fellowship awarded to a small number of students at Kenyon College each year. As a John W. Adams Summer Scholar, I conducted an independent research project investigating the history of sexual assault in Knox County, by collecting data concerning court cases of sexual assaults, criminal indictments and other actions of the legal system from the past 10 years in order to have a comprehensive understanding of what occurs when a victim chooses to pursue legal action for a sexual violence crime in this region, from original indictment to the results of any trials that occur, but more specifically, why so many victims are silenced by the deep stigmatization associated with reporting assaults and the personal and public biases that complicate their processes of healing, personal empowerment and quests for legal recourse. By becoming familiar with the legal arena of Knox County and in particular, Mount Vernon, Ohio, my work investigated the cultural, socio-economic, racial and gendered influencers upon sexual abusers and their victims in a rural area. As part of this fellowship, I am also interned at New Directions, Knox County's Domestic Abuse Shelter and Rape Crisis Center in order to work towards a personal understanding of the emotional, psychological and physical effects of sexual and domestic violence/intimate partner violence, bettering my ability to create a final research project that was holistically reflective of the deeply traumatic journeys of sexual violence survivors and a project that foremost honors and uplifts survivors.

As part of my fellowship in the John W. Adams Summer Scholars Program in Socio-Legal Studies, I interned at New Directions, Knox County's Domestic Abuse Shelter and Rape Crisis Center, to supplement, benefit and influence my approach to an independent research project concerning the history of sexual assault in Knox County. I am trained as a volunteer for this organization, and my training included an emphasis on Trauma Oriented Care as well as survivor empowerment.

Recently ranked the 13th fastest growing city in America by the U.S. Census Bureau, the city of Columbus is a vibrant and exciting place to live and work. As an intern with the the Mayor's Office of the City of Columbus, I worked directly for the Environmental Steward of the City of Columbus. In this role, some of my responsibilities included:-The writing, editing and publishing of policy papers and documents concerning the city's sustainability efforts and community outreach for various public programs. -The completion of writing concerning community outreach and sustainability policy that made up an integral part of the launch of the city's now popular and well-established residential recycling program, RecyColumbus (2013). -Assisted in the writing of the Green Memo III, a public policy document concerning both the present and future sustainability efforts of the city. I was heavily involved in the writing and editing of most of the 9 sections of the memo. -Another of my individual responsibilities at City Hall was to tend to the Mayor's Office community vegetable garden, which mainly grew tomatoes, zucchinis and herbs. The products of this garden were donated to a local non-profit benefiting survivors of human trafficking, Freedom A La Cart.
