My ultimate goal has always been to support, advocate and empower others, especially women and girls. Eager to find a means of providing more hands-on support and in embracing my passion for reproductive health and gender related issues, I am currently taking steps to become a certified Birth Doula with Dona International. Currently, I work as an Administrator supporting the Clinical Knowledge Translation team at the Association of Ontario Midwives (AOM). Prior to my work with the AOM, I was a Project Coordinator with the Woman Abuse Council of Toronto where I was supporting with community engagement and consultation in efforts to inform Canada's National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence.
