My role at Coffin Mew required me to be responsive to the needs of a busy marketing department. I have been involved in many different activities including:- Working with many different individuals and teams within the firm on various activities and initiatives such as service/brand management, market research, events organisation and advising on marketing actions.- Manage, host and prepare all material for shows, exhibitions, conferences, workshops or other corporate events.- Maintain and update the website, intranet, and department specific websites and extranets including liaising with outside IT agencies.- Writing and designing brochures, flyers and advertisements.

- Writing press releases and staff newsletter;- Booking, copy writing and creating advertisements;- Organisation and attendance at open days and in-house events to promote the Arts Institute;- Attendance at local and national events to promote the Arts Institute, such as careers and higher education fairs;- Market Research and analysis to analyse competitors and identify trends in the market;- Marketing campaigns to recruit to specific areas of under recruitment. - Liaising with designers and printers, proof reading of items for print.

My role was to provide support to the Marketing Communications Manager. Tasks including:- Assistance with exhibition and seminar organisation such as staff itineraries, travel arrangements, corporate clothing, shipment of exhibition material, press-packs, and follow-up information. Attendance at these events involved acting as a hostess to sales managers and a guide for the customers.- Monitoring re-branding process and enforcing the rules of the new corporate guidelines.- Production of articles for the in-house newspaper.- Development of a market research project to encourage continual investment.- Proof reading and checking of press releases and advertisements.- Liaison with external suppliers and agencies.- Distribution of the company’s email enquiries to the correct destination.
