Responsible for providing innovative and strategic leadership for institutional advancement and business development at SIS. I manage and plan admissions, fundraising, business and campus development, communications, marketing, public affairs and community relations. Serving as the chief advisor to the Director and SIS Board on matters relating to institutional advancement. A member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Director.Key achievements to date:- Secured new campus facilities by successfully negotiating a 25-year lease on the landmark Norra Latin building in the centre of Stockholm.- Organisation rebranding, completed January 2020- Increased enrolment by 20% through engagement programmes and improved admissions procedures. The level of enrolment (of the capacity) has increased from 85% to 92%. - Responsibilty for and coordination of stakeholder communications during the pandemic.- Played a key role in developing and writing new Vision, Mission and Value statements and a new strategic plan for the School.- Created the school's first annual fund, The SIS Spirit Fund. The fund grew by 30% in its second year and by 350% in its third year.- Introduced and implemented a CRM system for community relations, including major donors and corporate partners.

I joined KTH to develop its alumni relations programming, with particular focus on internationalisation, and to set up its first alumni donor programme. Achievements include: • Launched the university’s first alumni giving programme: KTH Opportunities Fund. The KTH Opportunities Fund is the first of its kind in Sweden in that it raises both financial donations and gifts of time. In less than two years since its inception, the KTH Opportunities Fund has received tremendous support (circa 1.2M SEK and 4000 hours).• Securing buy-in for KTH to run its first ever telethon campaign (executed in Spring 2014)• Set up an Alumni Advisory Board• Increased the number of alumni reached through university channels from 10,000 to 70,000• Increased international presence from 1 to 21 locations

Responsible for building and sustaining relationships between the College and its alumni, and increasing the number of alumni actively engaged in College activities. This included using global networks to spread key messages about College achievements, thereby raising a wider awareness of the Imperial brand.Achievements include:• As project manager, delivered a new alumni website on time and on budget(Project timescale three months, project budget £80,000)• Launched alumni groups in 12 additional locations worldwide• Awarded silver medal in the CASE international awards for the International Ambassador Scheme

As deputy to the department director and project manager for an externally funded member acquisition project, I gained valuable experience in all aspects of management, from staff development to financial control. The role was responsible for promotion of the benefits of membership, training of membership interviewers and consultation for prospective members. Results were achieved through the streamlining of business processes and developing effective relationships with the organisation's volunteers.Achievements include:• Secured government grant for and managing recruitment project (value £400,000)• Launched organisation activities in Hong Kong and the Gulf Region• Achieved unprecedented growth of membership and a 140% increase in applications
