As the Director of Admissions, I oversee the enrollment process from start to finish for our prospective students. I am able to manage our database, coordinate events, and steward our families into the school. I am a key member of our External Affairs team working on development, events, and marketing efforts within the building. I assist with Ohio Department of Education Scholarships, as well as internal scholarship disbursement.

As an Impact Manger for City Year Cleveland I was able to oversee AmeriCorps member doing their year of service within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I managed a team of young adults and coached them as they mentored high school students. While managing my team, I would do monthly reviews of their progress to figure out goals for our team. I was able to act as a liaison between City Year and the partner school where my team was located while ensuring the success of my team and the students they worked with. I was able to organize and implement sessions of Monthly professional Development days for staff & corps members.

Open Streets Cleveland, formerly ciCLEvia, is a movement which temporarily closes the streets to cars and opens them up for people powered movement. As the program manager, I supported a culture of active living, community, and sustainability through event coordination and planning, social media content, development, and relationship building in the Cleveland area and beyond. I was able to work with community based teams for each individual event, solicit funding from a variety of sources, and collaborate with local government on implementing each unique event. I was able to develop data tracking, share results with stakeholders, and secure grant funding. I managed marketing & social media with our team and was able to individualize it for each event.

As an intern, I was supported the Healthy Cleveland initiative by assisting with website content, newsletters, and various programs. I was able to learn more about working with various sectors within the City of Cleveland and develop communication skills that allowed me to successfully connect with those who live, work, and play within the city.
