Worked across The Cares Family to research trust and foundation opportunities and submit £300k a year of grant applications, to fund programming in our East London, South London, North London, Liverpool and Manchester offices. The Cares Family were a national charity, working to bring older and younger neighbours together to share friendship, joy and laughter - bridging gaps across social, generational and digital divides.

Oversaw all fundraising and communications activities for the San Diego regional office, including raising around $700,000+ a year from individual donors, corporate and private foundations and government grants. Helped project manage and write a winning $2.5 million grant in 2019. Managed all event planning, brand awareness and social media.

Increased public awareness and support of GRID Alternatives San Diego's mission and work via social media, storytelling and media relations.

Aided GRID Alternatives San Diego with their fundraising goals for 2016 -- focusing on the power of storytelling.

Crafted and scheduled social media content for ArtPrize’s 100,000+ followers on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter as well as our blog. Drafted press releases, often in union with ArtPrize sponsors, including Pantone and Honda. Kept local media informed and answered event queries and interview requests on a daily basis. Worked closely with a New York based PR firm -- helping to bring writers from publications including Hyperallergic, The New York Observer, Vice and Art in America to the event.

Wrote monthly art gallery profiles.Researched and compiled monthly entertainment listings.Followed local trends and pitched occasional feature stories.
