Policy responsibility for social policy, innovation and policy development, equality and human rights; parades, dealing with the past, victims and survivors; regeneration, military sites; anti-poverty; Good Relations including Together; building a United Community - the Northern Ireland good relations policy; Social protection fund, social investment fund, childcare, international relations, community engagement, historical institutional abuse and the general policy areas of dept of Social Development, Dept of Justice, and culture arts and leisure for the First Minister's Office. Involved in PFG and budget processes within department.
