I worked on the Women's Rugby Sevens Sub-committee since the tournaments start in 2013, then progressed to be the elected Women’s Rugby Sevens Coordinator. I worked as head of the small and close sub-committee to grow, organise and run the annual ‘St Andrews Rugby Sevens’ tournament. This role involved contacting and establishing relationships with teams across the UK in order to encourage them to compete and work together to grow the women's side of the St Andrews Sevens Tournament and of rugby as a whole. In my role it was vital that I stayed in regular contact with all team captains leading up to the event, as well as continue to liaise with the Men's Rugby committee to ensure the coordination of the tournament.In addition to organisation through communication with teams and other committees, I also worked with the Athletic Union and Men's Sevens Coordinator to arrange logistics both leading up-to and on the day. This involved clear communication and the ability to organise other club members to assist us.It is the biggest student-run rugby event in the UK, attracting teams from all over the British Isles.

As the Secretary for 'AnthroSoc' I was a part of the executive committee; controlling email and member databases as well as being involved in event planning and recruitment.

During my enjoyable time at Fox's, I worked on tills, stock room and shop floor, advising customers on products and brands. I quickly acquired specialist knowledge of marine hardware and clothing. I carried out my duties in an outgoing and friendly manner and enjoyed the opportunity to further my sailing knowledge.I also worked with new and existing account holders to acquire products for their yachts. Fox’s help supply both Gunfleet and Oyster luxury yacht brands, and so I worked closely with skippers and owners to supply them during fit-outs. I was able to quickly form relationships and friendships, particularly with visiting owners and skippers which also translated into sales as I began to be asked for personally to assist in-store as well as when tracking down products externally. In such relationships I was able to quickly establish a rapport and loyalty, as well as their confidence in my abilities

During my work experience placement in Mr. Gummer's political office I was able to put excellent administrative and personal skills to good use.I enjoyed the opportunity to interact with constituents through replying to their letters and emails, and whilst doing this I ensured that my replies were researched to the best of my ability, so as to best aid constituents.I also compiled briefings on various documents for Mr. Gummer, my time at university has allowed me to further develop these research skills.I immensely enjoyed working as part of a small, close team as well as the variation of dealing with different constituents and issues every day.
