I am the founder and director in this small community dance charitable organisation based in the Vale of Glamorgan. We aim to enrich lives through movement by providing inclusive movement based projects at our studio in the YMCA, Barry and in various centres, schools and care homes in the region.

I run a community dance programme at Barry YMCA for children and young people living in the Vale of Glamorgan. We deliver street, break, hip hop, contemporary and creative dance.

I co-ordinate the Motion Control Dance Programme where I develop many opportunities for young people to enjoy and experience dance. I have been a professional dance tutor since qualifying with a BA Hons and PGCE Dance degree in 1997 and have had a huge amount of experience in a variety of dance styles. Role began by co-ordinating dance battles with the young people at the youth clubs and monthly Fever Teenage Events. I developed a dance project for disadvantaged youths called ‘In Pursuit of an Urban Dance Evolution’ which was funded through the Arts Council of Wales which I have planned, delivered and assessed through OCN accreditation. Set up YDANCE in which I recruited & managed tutors, undertook all admin regarding dance activity and maintained attendance figures. Summer schemes were organised and delivered by myself with other tutors. I have taught contemporary & street dance classes for ages 5 – adult. I have prepared dancers to undertake U.K.D.D.F medal exam days in Street Dance with students, achieving high grades each time.
