I worked with UNESCO towards the UN's 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda in the Human and Social Sciences Sector's, Inclusion, Rights and Dialogue Section. I was involved in two unique projects: developing a new web platform for intercultural dialogue and using data to highlight the importance of intercultural dialogue. Responsibilities include: Co-authoring a policy brief on the role of intercultural dialogues in resolving and preventing violent conflicts; Designing communication strategies and campaigns on projects working towards peace and sustainable development; Assisting and providing inputs to the development and publication board submission of intercultural dialogue projects; Drafting, editing, writing, and formatting policy briefs, project proposals, concept notes, invitation letters, and speeches for the team; Supporting in communication strategies with internal and external colleagues;Designing and creating content for a new platforms site map that will showcase the power of intercultural dialogue.

I worked as a primary teacher training students in a diverse, multicultural setting. Responsibilities included: Supporting 30 students in-person and over 200 students online using Microsoft Teams in reaching their academic goals and progressing to the next grade; Using MS Office for administrative tasks; including writing student reports, planning tasks, and organising events; Coordinating events, such as Sports Day, with other classes within the school; Maintaining regular communication with parents by reporting on students’ progress, and listening to and resolving concerns.

The target group was all levels of education from primary level to high school. Responsibilities included: Reviewing and monitoring students’ progress weekly; Coordinating monthly meetings with parents to build relationships, discuss students progress and areas to further develop; Designing and implementing original class materials to support students in their training; Coordinating training sessions, and interviewing potential students to ensure we meet their needs before beginning classes.
