This role developed my understanding of businesses and enabled me to spend days with our customers at their premises and gain further insights to their business. I completed audits of our existing customers and surveyed new prospects. Whilst much of this role was to identify risk areas , I also worked with the customers and prospects to seek out improvements so that they could continue utilising the existing funding. And ways to work together through challenging times. Within this role I was also responsible for training new recruits and sharing my knowledge and experience with wider teams within the Bank. This included taking team members out on audits, workshops and worked on a number of projects to develop and receive our existing reviews.

This role was responsible for assisting the Relationship Manager in managing their portfolio of Customers and ensuring our customers received an excellent service. I was the main day to day contact for our customers and enjoyed working closely with them to build our relationship whilst ensuring that we received the required information to manage their facilities.

I managed a small team of operations support to ensure that all their KPIs were met and assisted in them managing their workload requirements.I enjoyed working with the team and to see them develop and progress through the business and supported them in their progression. This gave me a key insight into working with different personalities and understanding individuals opportunities and development needs.

I was responsible for credit control activities and reconciliations on my portfolio of clients and also assisting other members in my teams including training needs and support when the Team leader was unavailable.I was liaising with both clients and their debtors
