Working at Mackenzie Investments, I am the primary point of contact for financial advisors and institutions looking to invest large amounts of money on their client’s behalf. My biggest priority as an agent in the Customer Care Department at AlarmForce was to handle very high volumes of inbound calls. I excelled in the position, taking on responsibilities of training new agents and still managing to meet inbound call quotas & effectively minimized customer on-hold times. Acting as primary point of contact resolving many different issues & inquiries, upholding company policy and providing excellent service. A strong focus was placed on providing accurate information and efficient resolutions. Within these actions it became a very important responsibility to negotiate payment arrangements with customers on overdue accounts. The position also involved a great deal of administrative support managing the customer database, processing information changes and drafting documents at the customer's request.

As an intern in the Organizational Effectiveness Department of Mackenzie Health Hospital, I provided administrative support on a number of projects. This position also gave me the opportunity to get involved as a key contributor in these projects. In this role, I constructed a powerpoint slide deck for a 4-hour Conflict Management Training Session, Conducted interviews for the Summer Co-op Program, and provided administrative support for the Employee Service Recognition Committee among other daily tasks.

In this role at TREND Financial, my main tasks involved interaction with customers and making arrangements for overdue payment. These tasks extensively developed my organizational skills, ability to negotiate and ability to meet deadlines. I also took initiative to get involved in special projects including employee training, data collection for market research and building spreadsheets for the legal department or for reporting to the credit bureau.
