I am participating in the research, design, and development of ophthalmic applications and medical devices.

• Learning about different 3D printing technologies and how to use machines from industrystandard brands like Formlabs and Stratasys. • Operating fabrication equipment (including 3D printers, laser cutter, and desktop CNC mill) • Handling and disposing hazardous waste such as isopropyl alcohol and Formlabs resin. • Learning best practice for common hand and power tools and monitoring tool use. • Keeping the space organized and completing projects that improve operations. • Any other assigned duties.

I work as a research assistant at Professor Lee Makowski's lab. I do data analysis of brain data acquired from people who suffer from the neurodegenerative disease Alzheimer's and die as a result to study or track the progression of the disease in the different parts of the brain.

Worked on how to design and implement a bicycle for a blind person. The internship was also coupled with learning of programming softwares such as python, C programming, Tinkercad and Fusion 360.

Collaborated with students from Northeastern university on Designing an Incubator to Improve Access to Neonatal Care in Rural Ghana. I was able to develop a software based infant incubator with my team. At the end of the internship, I was able to combine electronic components such as resistors, BJTs and capacitors to make an amplifier. I also learned how to use MOSFET to also make an amplifier. I also learned how light dependent resistors (LDR) are used in industrial applications such as automatic switching of street lights, automatic door openings and others.During the period, I was also introduced to python and C programming language and the introduction to data science using python.

1. Aided in fixing non-functional incubators.2. Assisted in the manufacturing of locally made warmth device for new born babies with jaundice3. During the internship, I was able to fix spoiled heating coils in distilled water plant at the hospital’s laboratory.4. Through the internship, I was also able to repair a faulty remote control bed used at the theatre room.

I was doing buying and selling of raw cashew nuts. I was buying from farmers, dry the nuts and sell it to Kingdom Exim company. Through hard working as a young boy, I was honored the most hard working and trusted agent by the boss of the company.

I taught integrated science from primary five to JHS 3. It was not easy teaching this number of classes but as enthusiastic as always I never get tired, and I was even doing additional extra classes hours.
