Prepares and updates audit programs, Reviews working papers of subordinates, Leads in the collation of audit findings and preparation of internal audit reports, Provides input in the training of subordinates, Provides guidance in the development and review of audit working papers, Coaches, mentors and provides on-the-job training to subordinates. Lead a team to carry out audit and monitoring exercise at project sites and training institutions.

 Assist the Head of Unit to prepare and submit Strategic and Annual Audit plan for management and Audit Committee’s approval  Prepares and updates audit programs Reviews working papers of subordinates,  Leads in the collation of audit findings and preparation of internal audit reports, Coaches, mentors and provides input in the training of subordinates,  Lead teams to carry out audit assignments on Donor Funded Projects, World Bank and Other Financing projects under MOFA. Example WAAP, GCAP, GASIP etc. Monitor the timely implementation of audit recommendations using ‘Status Report Form’. Review the risk register of various directorates/units under (MOFA).  Member of FAMU Committee – Identify and record assets on GIFMIS system.

Develop risk-based annual audit plans detailing the scope, procedures, programs, nature and timing of audit activities in line with the international standards; Conduct audits to access the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures; Review procurement and payment processes to ensure that procurements are done from VAT registered suppliers and the correct rates of VAT is applied, also the correct rates for PAYE and Withholding taxes are applied; Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan; Monitor the timely implementation and management actions on audit recommendations.

Financial planning and management of the Church finance. Budgeting and expenditure controls. Filling Returns at VAT and SSNIT Offices; Entering transaction to quick Books using Excel; Preparing Payroll for Staffs; Ensuring the Asset Register is maintained and updated at Headquarters and all branches. Ensuring that proper books of account are kept at the National Headquarters and at all branches -Performing other duties as assigned by the Finance Director
