•Develop strategic plan and manage department, work processes and resources to ensure that it conforms to the SFH strategic plan including development of annual work plan and budgeting•Evaluate and overhaul existing MIS processes and systems in order to provide effective processes, systems and software solutions including mobile and tablet based applications and as well manage the procurement of the new systems•Managing and supporting team of M&E officers to ensure that overall programmatic reporting requirements are met including timely and quality reporting to all SFH stakeholders e.g. CDC, PSI, DOH, USAID, DUTCH•Develop overall M&E Plans for all SFH Programs including HIV counseling and testing, medical circumcision, condom distributions, families matter program and Sexuality education •Perform field visits to ensure the quality of data collected by Programs and to verify the accuracy of reported data and address quality challenges •Support operational research activities for example preparing, setting up, conducting and recording the outcome of field work, developing questionnaires, conducting surveys and analyzing research data •Promote human capacity development through training, coaching and mentoring staff on key M&E concepts, tools and processes to strengthen technical capacity •Coordinate the process of data collection, management and utilization of spatial data for effective planning and decision making including relevant visualizations of monitoring data, charts, graphs and maps using geographical information system (GIS)•Work with Marketing department to provide targeted marketing activities using data and also monitor outcome of marketing activities

•Managed and supported a team of eight (8) M&E Officers, designed, reviewed and implemented monitoring and evaluation processes for the Foundations HIV Care and Treatment (C&T) including TB/HIV and PMTCT Program; ensured data submissions and implementation of data collection tools at EGPAF supported facilities; provided advice and assistance in improving these collection tools.•Provided guidance to M&E unit in terms of planning, budgeting and costing of the unit annual activities. And also identify, recruit and mentor staff members. In addition to the unit annual activities, empowering team members on planning for their annual activities such as annual work plan and costing•Coordinated all the program reports and submissions from over 300 Program sites in 13 districts and 2 sub-grantees from five provinces of South Africa•Conducted M&E quality improvement activities and use and ensured adequate documentation of all processes and results. •Supported and coordinated all (3) M&E Officers and over 30 data capturers to implement effective monitoring and evaluation activities for the Foundation’s HIV Care and Treatment (C&T) and PMTCT Program•Put in place the monitoring systems that produced the programme data required by both department of health and EGPAF and this systems are in line with the national and internal standard requirements •Worked closely with technical staff and facility staff to ensure that they understand the data collection tools such as registers for the purpose of ensuring quality data production for the programme. •Provided technical assistance to sites in improving M&E tools and streamline the M&E processes, from data collection to the production of reports.
