Ever since I was a little kid, I have had a passion for the environment. Growing up in Southwest Texas, I remember navigating through public and private lands to make my way to the Nueces River for a day of fishing or swimming. I had to learn which logs and piles of rocks to avoid in case there was a rattler hiding away and even remember learning which fruits and plants I was able to snack on through my hikes. Being raised right in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale, I also witnessed firsthand how an industry can change the ecology, economy and sociology of small Texas towns.This passion along with my interests in economics and data science led me to the University of Texas at Austin to study biology, business and computer science. The resources at the university allowed me to study the mating calls of the Central American Túngara frog and also allowed me to research the effects pressurized stress has on the same Eagle Ford rock I was raised on. I even took some time to go to Australia to study the effects climate change had on the people, economy and environment of the country. Now at Amerigo, this passion continues. I am constantly learning new techniques to develop environmental compliance solutions for a wide range of clients, not only at the Eagle Ford, but nationally. Whether it is greenhouse gas compliance, air permitting, or another environmental project, I'm eager to assist! When I’m not in the office, you could probably find me traveling and photographing everything from Chance the Rapper to the Great Barrier Reef.
