To provide a 1st / 2nd line support service that ensures all IT equipment and infrastructure is running to its optimum performance and that all departmental KPIs and SLAs are met.• To ensure that work is carried out to a high standard and complies with all Zambeef polices and guidelines, specifically IT and Health & Safety policies/guidelines.• To review, write and execute change management requests as required • To maximize availability of all IT equipment and infrastructure through continuous improvement and continuously look to improve equipment efficiencies and cost reductions accordingly.• To perform random site audits on technical infrastructure to ensure adherence to latest Zambeef standards and guidelines..• To carry out ad-Hoc requests as and when required.• Interact with suppliers, request quotes and purchase equipment in accordance with policies, budgets and operational demand.• Represent the IT department in site meetings / conference calls.• Produce weekly reports covering metrics and work performed.• Deputize for IT Manager as and when required which includes:o All aspects of work and project allocation and prioritization.o Attendance of site meetings and conference calls.• Provide mentoring and training to technicians and other engineers.• Prioritizing tech teams work schedule.• Contribute to sites on call schedule

Working in a team of Consultants responsible for database design and development and system maintenance using (MS SQL 2008 Server).
