RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Ensure adherence and support to the management system which focuses on quality systems in all aspects of the organization.2. Supervise the development and efficient execution of the drilling program in coordination with client representative and rig departmental heads.3. Hold daily operations meeting with client representative and rig departmental heads.4. Ensure that the rig has personnel with the right competence to fulfill their job responsibilities and requirements.5. Warrant pre-job meeting is carried out for hazardous situations and non-routine operations.6. Maintain frequent personal contact with the customer’s drilling representative to develop a positive working relationship and coordinate rig operations to ensure objective are met.7. Prepare and review for accuracy customer’s billing for day rate, third party services and reimbursable materials. Monitor that payments received in accordance with the terms of contract.8. Monitor all daily costs and focus on the efficient and effective utilization of resources.9. Ensure full compliance with all mandatory company, client, and other regulatory requirements and develop positive relationship with regulatory agencies/agents.10. Maintain daily communication with Drilling superintendent on all relevant activities regarding the rig’s operation and needs.11. Ensure successful completion of all preventive maintenance activities, and procedures as well as major repair and maintenance are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner so as to maximize the drilling time and reduce the down time of the rig.12. Ensures that all safety equipments are inspected and functional at all times and that regular inspection and safety drills and meetings occur.13. Understand the technology that is required for rig operations. Assist with the evaluation of new technologies and products to determine their applicability.
