While enrolled at the University of Heidelberg as a doctoral researcher, I also hold an external doctoral researcher status at the UNESCO Chair on World Heritage and Biosphere Reserve Observation and Education under the supervision of Professor Dr Alexander Siegmund.My core activities include research and project management activities, such as research design, data collection, management and analysis, and collaboration within interdisciplinary and multicultural teams and experts.• Gathered data from various sources including field studies, paper questionnaires and electronic surveys, private and public sources, including databases. • Conducted comprehensive literature reviews to inform the design of a three-part doctoral thesis.• Employed a variety of innovative machine learning techniques for Africa-wide disaster risk/trend assessment leading to high-impact publications.• Performed content analyses of disaster risk policies in ten high-risk African countries.• Completed a systematic literature review map of flash flood drivers, devastations, and directions in UNESCO biosphere reserves.• Designed and executed a global online survey of UNESCO actors on their competencies. While pursuing my doctoral research, I held this part-time position as a project coordinator for Erasmus+ projects on a mini-job basis, dedicating 10 hours per week to this role at this organisation. Erasmus+ is the European Union's flagship program supporting education, training, youth, and sports initiatives across Europe.
