Ensure effective implementation, quality assurance, and sustainability of WASH projects in northern part of Kenya (Wajir and Mandera county), ultimately contributing to improved access to new classrooms, laboratories, safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services for communities and students. Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of construction progress, quality inspections, material testing results, and compliance with contractual requirements.  Providing technical oversight and ensuring construction and engineering designs comply with technical standards. Coordinating with the various stakeholders involved in the WASH project. Overseeing the construction of infrastructure, sanitation and hygiene facilities. Monitoring the environmental impact of construction activities and implementing measures to minimize environmental degradation. Assisting in managing project budgets, procurement of materials and equipment and allocation of resources. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards at the construction site

 Supervising the quality of materials and workmanship on site to ensure that they conform to the specifications, standards, and regulations set forth in the project documentation. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of construction activities, including inspections, test results, and progress reports. Ensuring that the construction work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and permits, as well as contractual agreements and specifications. Inspecting the construction work regularly, often on a daily basis, to identify any defects, deviations from plans, or substandard work. Raising purchase requisitions and preparation of payment certificates as per works done for review by project manager. Co-coordinating stakeholders and ensure that each team member is aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
