The overall aim of the role is to support the company’s operations around the African Continent with high level recruitments, Mobile Talents Management, Training, remuneration issues and payroll. • Management of all expatriates throughout AngloGold Ashanti’s African Mines (Geita in Tanzania, Obuasi and Iduapriem in Ghana, Sadiola in Mali and Siguiri in Guinea.• Administration of AngloGold mobility benefits Service Providers (Fedelta, International Insurance, St James Life Insurance, Marsh Insurance (claims, registration etc) • Mobile Talents (Expatriates) recruitment process for the continental Africa Region (job advert, interviews, offers, on boarding, etc)• Role description writing and profiling• Co-ordination of sign on process and travel arrangements (visas, flight tickets, insurance etc…)• Deployment of mobile talent employees throughout various mining sites around the continent• Contract management (offers, extensions, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc…)• Maintain and Update Database accurately and manage HR information system (GHRIS)• Contribute towards other HR function deliverables as required (performance management & training)• Verification and sign off our expatriates monthly payroll (more USD $2,5 million per month)• Administration of all expatriates issues (medical insurance, salaries, travel, etc…)• Keeping records and updating employees/expatriates’ files• Separation process (termination checklist, exit interviews/medical, resignation acceptance letters, pension fund withdrawal submissions etc…) • Assist Line Managers with Conditions of Employment interpretation and documentation• Support different Mines with business trips (West Africa, East and Central Africa) for ad hoc projects and other value-added HR related service
