Subject matter expert for the EU/AFD funded NAPTIN capacity development project for the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry with Emphasis in Vocational skill sector revamping. My R&R on the project are;1. Conduction of existing capacity assessment of NAPTIN2. Design, administer and review of he electricity sector vocational skill gap and market needs3. Review of NAPTIN existing course content and updation to meet the the market needs.4. Introduction of new course content within Commercial and Revenue Optimization as advice by the market needs analysis.5. Development of teaching material for the TOT6. Reporting i.e Inception report, gap analysis report, market needs analysis report and any other report as captured in the TOR7. Integration of NAPTIN with relevant certification and global capacity development partners

Port Harcourt Electricity distribution Company Plc business model is structured along 33kV Feeder Lines, clustered at the level of Transmission station as a zone to reflect the aggregation of a collection of 33kV Feeders into business zones. Currently, PHED comprises of 13numbers business zones across the 4states in its franchise.My responsibility as the Head Commercial includes superintending the zones operations, which includes 1. Liaises with TCN and other stakeholders in facility personnel within his region to ensure business objectives are achieved.2. Ensure market related obligations and function within their region are adhered to.3. Prepares, reviews and recommend annual, bi-annual and quarterly business plans for management consideration.4. Conducts Monthly performance review for the personnel is his region.5. Oversee all activities - Commercial, Operational and Support Services at the region for operational efficiency.6. Work towards reducing ATC&C losses, study the Energy Audit Reports and devise strategies to curb losses in the Region. Improve revenue generation through detection of theft and other leakages in the region.7. Monitor the schedule of network maintenance in the Region as prepared by the Feeder Manager and other relevant staff. 8. Responsible for energy cascading of the region.9. Lead the execution of tasks associated with the achievement of the business goals10. Strong focus on the economics and profitability of the services rendered have assisted in the loss reduction initiatives activities (ATC&C reduction by 19%) and transformed the zone to a path of growth and profitability (RPU growth by 57%).

In addition to the Responsibility of the commercial lead, I took over the performance measurement and optimization function across the business. Emphasis is on ensuring the performance criteria, commitment, investment and returns are as projected across board. This includes the input energy optimization, metering billing, energy accounting/audit and balance score card.

As the Commercial Project Manager, the mandate was to lead the transformation drive from a commercial perspective which includes defining the business KPI, facilitating the approval process and properly implemented to ensure conformity with set business goals. Hence, my R&R can be listed as thus:1. Business Model Review: Restructuring and repositioning of from the geographical area business unit based to the feeder based profit centricity model for effecting accountability, responsibility, discipline and urgency in getting things done.2. Business Strategy Planning & Review: Five (5) year Performance Improvement Plan preparation and Annual Business Plan development, implementation and performance operation review.3. Concept Development: development, implementation via pilot based approach, monitoring and evaluation of Loss reduction, Input energy optimization, Metering, Operational efficiency, Billing and collection improvement, Customer service and experience enhancing concepts etc..4. Project Monitoring: Close monitoring of the business KPI’s which includes the revenue cycle management and compliance to both internal and industry policies and developmental initiatives.5. Regulatory and Market Issues: Tariff review and sculpting, interpretation of regulatory policies, concepts review and impact analysis, provision of commercial response to the regulators and the Operators of Nigeria Electricity Market (NERC, TCN, BPE, and NBET).6. Project Financial Model: Project design, costing, payback and impact analysis for capex investment.7. Process and Systems Alignment – Use of domain knowledge to interface with different departments so as to improving PHED’s SOP to meet industry and best practices.8. Embedded Generation: Integration of Interconnected MiniGrid solution to underserved and difficult to serve communities and embedded solution to prime customers.

Managed the entire procurement and installation phases which include equipment, PC&M, general civil works, steel fabrication and logistics.5. Project Manager, Rural Electrification Agency 2015 constituency project for the supply and installation of 16nos 300kVA 33/0.415kV transformer allocation to Okigwe Senatorial zone of Imo State. The substations under Lot3 are 1. Ayede 330/132/33kV2. Osogbo 330/132/33kV 3. Ijebu-Ode 132/33kV).

Midsize Injection substations(HV/MV), HVDS substations (MV/LV) and associated transmission lines (D-EPC-IB5/22)2.
