From an early age, I always had a passion for helping people; this explains why I spent most of my time as a child trying to cater for an old woman in my compound. This passion probably explains why I wanted to study medicine in the university. Being admitted to study medical biochemistry didn't stop me from pursuing this passion as I volunteered to assist in lab testing, kits and ARV store management and dispensing with two NGOs involved in HIV/ AIDS care provision; ICAP(Columbia University) CIHP(Centre for Integrated Health Projects) in General Hospitals in Cross River state, Nigeria. In the years following my graduation, I have continued to involve myself in various roles and activities that generally cater for human health, well-being and safety.My recent involvement in the evacuation to safety, transportation and resettlement of people affected by the Ukraine and Russia crisis is a career highlight for me.I look forward to similar roles in the future where I can through my paramedical training and experience, general humanity and leadership qualities contribute to people's health, well-being and safety.
