This event featured 88 participants from 5 states in Nigeria. 5 speakers were invited who spoke on topics including: How To Build A Business That Leads To Financial Independence As A Studen; Building An Influential Political Career Whilst Thriving Academically; Making A High CGPA and Accessing Scholarship Opportunities; Establishing A Balance Between Spirituality and Academics; Demystifying All-Round Excellence.Through this event, the community has now raised 15 first class students in Nigerian higher institutions of learning who are leading their departments. Furthermore, we have continued to offer mentorship for the community through our monthly webinar session on different topics relating to excelling in areas of life as students. Scholarship opportunities are also shared with the community members. In June, we organized a free digital skills acquisition training for the community members in which 45 people participated and 60% graduated. Digital skills like Graphics designing, content writing, website designing, data analysis, and video editing were taught freely. We went ahead to teach them how to make money from these skills, thereby removing their over-dependence on their parents and also resisting the temptation of involving in cyber crimes which is prevalent in Nigerian campuses today. After the successful organization of this event, 10 members of the community were sponsored to attend a Career and Employability Conference hosted by Mindshift Consulting in Minna, Nigeria. This was aimed at equipping and preparing the community members who are undergraduates with the necessary skills demanded by the employers.
