With over three years of experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management, I am a passionate and certified professional who specializes in gas pipeline safety and sustainability. I hold a NEBOSH Process Safety Management (PSM) credential and a licensed Environmental Impact Assessor (EIA) from the National Environmental Management Authority.As an HSE Associate at Genser Energy, I enforce company HSE policies and implement the HSE Management System during the construction and operation of a 110km natural gas pipeline that supplies methane for power generation in Ghana. I advise and support the project team on all relevant HSE matters, conduct and review risk assessments, issue and monitor permits to work, facilitate and conduct HSE induction and training, and prepare and report HSE performance metrics. I also contribute to the expansion of the Bulk Supply Station and the Block Valve Station, and provide technical assistance for the pipeline right of way and cathodic protection.My mission is to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental protection for the gas pipeline project, while also advancing the goals of climate change mitigation and adaptation, net-zero emissions, and energy transition. I am a certified Climate Reality Leader and a volunteer for various initiatives that promote climate activism and sustainability, such as food waste reduction and trans-regional cooperation. I am also pursuing a Master of Environmental Studies (Climate Change and Sustainability) at Kenyatta University, and have completed several courses and certificates in project management, research methodology, and contracts management.I am eager to connect and collaborate with other professionals and organizations who share my vision and values, and to explore opportunities for career development and social impact.
