Involved in Information Security for about eight years and is responsible for, enabling core functions to effectively implement InfoSec policies & practices, spearheading new security initiatives for the company, interaction with clients related to - security requirements, contracts review, audits & compliance. Certifications include ISO27001 LA (BSI Group), ITILv3 Foundation (EXIN), CISM (ISACA). Seizes opportunity to engage and evangelize good security practices within the organization. Joined Mu Sigma in 2008 as IT head and setup the company’s formal IT team. Before joining Mu Sigma, worked with BEA Systems. In previous assignments, held several IT support positions at HP India, Compaq and Digital Equipment during the journey of more than 10 years in IT domain. Holds a Master degree in Sociology. When not at work, enjoys traveling, appreciates music and participate in security forums.
