Emmanuel Suleiman Salau (Ph.D) is currently a Professor of Agricultural Extension and Development Communication with over 30 years of cognate professional and academic experience in teaching, research, agricultural training, extension services and management of community development projects. I started my teaching career as an Agricultural Science teacher in the Secondary school in January 1988 and later moved to the Nasarawa State College of Agriculture Lafia as an Assistant Lecturer in 1997 and rose to the rank of Lecturer II. I joined the services of Nasarawa State University Keffi as an Assistant Lecturer in October, 2004 and rose to the present rank of Professor in October, 2020 through hard work and meritorious service. During the past 30 years I have impacted on the lives of several students academically and morally, many of whom are doing very well in their various careers today. Beside teaching and research, I also participated in several national and international funded development projects including heading the Faculty of Agriculture Extension Outreach Programme for over ten years, Evaluation of Agricultural Development Programme (ADP) and Fadama III projects; Baseline Survey and Needs Assessment in Rural Communities; Cooperative Development and Management; Establishment of Community Development Projects (World Bank- Assisted); Team leader World Bank Household Survey for the Africa Migration Project and Field Officer Business Environment and Competitiveness Across Nigerian States (BECANS I,II & III); Facilitator of Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement Project (SPESSE).
