Hello, my name is Emmanuel Taban. I am practically a hometown kid who is currently completing his sophomore year at Phoenix College.Though I am a second year here, I spent my first year hundreds of miles away at Cal State University Fullerton. While attending both institutions I had been on an athletic, basketball scholarship. While attending both institutions I had been on an ,athletic, basketball scholarship.I was a four-year varsity player, and was captain of the ship my last two years. Graduating high school, I was put in many leadership roles that I am able to prevail no matter where I go. I am confident in the work I put into my craft because it earned my eighth division-one scholarships offer out of high school. I have no true career or internship practice complete at the times notice, but I have worked one legitimate job ever. This is a care taking job where I watched over, and provided aid for mentally disabled individuals. This was no office job or too high class, but it was worth it because not only did it help build a tremendous amount of character and also brought many of life dilemmas into newfound perspectives. I was able to mature through this job because I had to put my personal needs aside for the health and safety of another. Frankly, I am a highly dependable student, who still needs a bit more seasoning. Phoenix College not only is a prominent teaching school with highly efficient Professors, but also a sturdy basketball program in which I was able to build upon my craft. I have other crafts in various fields that I would like to explore more about. With that said, I am a natural born leader with excellent verbal communication. Other than art, I am pretty good with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and lastly, computer video editing. Despite my current seesaw between majors, I have a distinctive feeling that I possess the skill sets to one day become a coach, teacher, professor, counselor, therapist, and many more infamous careers that help other people feel better, but most importantly to continuously grow/evolve to be better.
