Ensure airfield safety procedures to ensure a safe operating environment for personnel and aircraft operation.Relay departure, arrival, delay, aircraft and airfield status, and other pertinent information to controlling agencies.Monitor the arrival, parking, refueling, loading, and departure of all aircraft.

Plan out appropriate routes keeping time and distance logistics in mind for day-day dispatching facilitation in and around UNMISSReview and post shipment orders as required by other UNMIS SectionsReview vehicle condition and check drivers for license validityCheck drivers’ status reports on a daily basisCompile data reports on shipment status and mobility of UNMIS

Conduct vehicle inspections to diagnose faults and identify the parts required for maintenance or repairs. Diagnoses and repairs vehicle systems including brakes, hydraulic, roads test of repaired vehicles, recovery of vehicles and safety of vehicles.Demonstrate in promoting goals of transport & Logistics culture, values, and facility utility in the organization.
