Emmanuela is a resilient and results-oriented professional who relishes challenging herself. I have over five (5) years of experience as a corporate governance executive in a public sector organization. Since 2016, I have worked as an Analyst at the Nigerian Incentive-Based Risk Sharing Agriculture Lending (NIRSAL) under the corporate governance unit. At NIRSAL, I have become well-versed in ensuring sustainable compliance with laws and regulations and overseeing sound management for an organization. I have developed a deep understanding of good corporate governance practices. I facilitate and coordinate statutory board and committee meetings.*** My Top 3 Achievements at NIRSAL***+ I have supported over 100 committee meetings and 20 board meetings.+ Maintained 100% Board satisfaction with 0% complaints + I helped the corporate governance department build an appropriate structure to support its governance operations. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Business Management from the University of Derby. Currently, I am pursuing an LLM in Commercial and Consumer Law from the University of South Wales. With my educational and professional training, I have gained sufficient exposure to general Corporate governance guidelines. I have developed strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.I am a natural leader and team builder with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and facilitate a harmonious team environment. In my time at Exeter University, I started a Nigerian Students Society and was a fund-raising officer on the committee of a charity society known as SIFE UK. In June 2015, I did a 70km Trek across ‘The Great Wall of China and raised £2,950 for a children’s charity ‘Childreach UK. ***Causes I Care About***Outside work, I am interested in mental health and emotional wellbeing.
