I joined Mastercard through the Graduate Launch Program, an 18-month global development program providing recent Bachelor's and Master's graduates with development opportunities and exposure. I work primarily as a delivery consultant on strategy and transformation projects. Some of my projects have covered:Development of a digital banking strategy for a financial services provider.Card Portfolio Optimization Strategy for an African BankMarket-wide deployment strategy for mobile walletsDevelopment of Travel and Tourism insights across the EMEA region

- I write on macroeconomic and financial markets events with a focus on Africa.- Providing Simplified insights targeted at a non-finance audience

I worked in a cross-functional team focused on positioning ANSIPPA for its transformation into a development and investment corporation (ADIC). Some of the work I did include:-The development of the Agency's Corporate Social Responsibility Framework.- Created an in-house training program to upskill the staff for projected roles in ADIC. The training improved the quality of work from staff and provided standards for the presentation of work outputs. - Carried out research and created presentations on various topics, including infrastructure financing, project finance, waste management, trade, investment, and debt management.- Developed the ANSIPPA Summer Analyst Program (ASAP) as part of the agency’s larger talent development objectives. The Summer Analysts were able to contribute in a dynamic environment and report significant improvements in their understanding of Public Service, Investment Promotion, Events, and Organizational Structure.

- Restructured the society shifting from an Investment banking-centric format to a more inclusive structure better representative of the broad financial sector, leading to improvement in members'' engagement and a better understanding of their career outlook.- Collaborated with the leaders of the Economics and Banking student's association to organise the maiden edition of the Covenant University Finance Conference with over 200 registered participants.Participants reported an Improved understanding of the roles and functions of various financial institutions. Increased awareness about personal finance.

- Organised career planning sessions for members of the society and assisted my head in developing a career planning guide. - I proposed ideas towards improving the engagement of new members and developed solutions to improve online engagement and content creation for the society's social media (All of which I went on to implement in my role as president). - I served on the ideation team for the society's Finance Day, which was to serve as the official launch of the society. We were not able to host it as the academic session was rounding up, but the resolutions from that team served as the foundation for the maiden edition of the Covenant University Finance Conference (CUFC 1.0)

- Head Organiser and Convener of the 4th Covenant University Invitational (A British parliamentary-style debate competition). It was the first physical tournament post-COVID with participants from 13 universities. - Worked with my president to host the 2nd Writers conference with 150 students in attendance. The programme promoted awareness about society and directly lead to an increase in club members and recognition.

- Developed a follow-up schedule to improve members' retention and engagement.- Created a Self-paced learning module to improve the quality of personal development of new debaters

-Served as the Sports correspondent covering the inter-faculty football cup (Chancellors Cup).-Employed innovative sorting systems, improving administrative filling speed.
