Industrial attachment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) DepartmentDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the QHSE Auditor and RQHSE Manager with the responsibility of documentation, conducting PPE sweeps, Safety Observations and Reporting, Walk-round, design and/or modification of QHSE documents aimed at maintaining the objectives and policies of the OIWA conglomerate.ACHIEVEMENTS Conducted several accident investigations/reporting for OIWA Ltd with proper documented reports of accident and incident cases for reference purposes. Raised several safety observations on unsafe acts and unsafe conditions for OIWA Ltd to reduce Fatality, Lost Time Injuries, Equipment and Property Damages and Near Misses, hence, a reduction in the company’s expenses on damage repair. Member of a team of Prodeco HSE staff monitoring the dredging and reclamation of jetty berth 12-19 and Phase 4B Project among others at Onne Port to ensure safe working conditions for staff in accordance with company policies and report accurate environmental impact assessment. Member of a team of Intel HSE staff conducting base/terminal inspections for oil and gas or logistics companies with stacking areas in FOT/FLT, Onne, Rivers State. Designed a HSE Quarterly Review for the OIWA conglomerate to report and review the progress of each company in eliminating fatalities, Lost Time Injuries, Near-Misses, Equipment and Property damages and proffer methods to avoid further occurrences.
