-Liaising with various state agencies such as the Lands Commission in providing the firm with certain information for our clients that we are representing them in civil matters.-I assist in performing due diligence in relation to mergers and acquisition requested by international companies that the firm represents. -Conducting legal research for the firm and also drafting of correspondence and preparing daily checklist for all clients we are representing in court. -Assisting in the drafting and reviewing of joint venture agreements, conveyancing documents such as lease agreements, mortgages and mining lease on behalf of our clients.-Drafting of correspondence on matters of labour relations, regulatory compliance issues, and procurement breaches for mining companies that the law firm represent as external solicitors.

-I ensured that there was timely submission of complaint and grievances filed by both court users and court staffs to the regional office (Sekondi) for appropriate action to be taken.-I was responsible for managing the Case Tracking System (CTS), which is electronic documents management system software for managing all criminal cases before the court.-I liaised with competent authorities like the Domestic Violence And Victims Support Unit of the Ghana Police Service ensure the issuance of personal and other relevant documentation with respect juveniles who are brought to the District Court/Juvenile Court.

-Drafting of lease, sub-lease, mortgages, wills and other legal documents.-I witnessed affidavits for documentation such as proof of residency or property ownership.-I witnessed affidavits and statements for protection orders, divorce proceedings, or other legal actions related to gender based-violence.-Preparation of affidavits for change of name and birth date.

I worked for her Ladyship Justice Georgina Mensah-Datsa, who sits in the High Court (Financial and Economic Crimes Court 1). My duties included:- -Legal research in criminal and civil matters;-attending oral arguments in other courts;-diary organisation;-communication with counsel regarding hearing and judgement dates;-general administrative tasks.

-I worked on a project concerning a resettled community (New Dokyiwaa) being carried out by Anglogold Ashanti mine (Obuasi). One of the objectives of the project was to find out how their livelihood activities had changed and the coping mechanisms they had resorted to in their new community.-I assisted in liaising with the finance team on cash call approval and issuance of payment cheques and all compensation related matters. -I participated in all community durbar being organized by the mine within the catchment area. -I ensured that land files are maintained confidentially in accordance with policy, SOP and procedures
