External Consultant for the leading development consultancy ASI as part of a partnership with LSE- Conducted a study of how political change affects international development spending within a team of five LSE students- Comparative study by country and sector of the evolution the Department for International Development (DFID) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID)- Worked from academic and grey literature, interviews with specialists of the politics of aid, and budget reports- Concluded that both agencies prioritized national self-interest while political change had little impact on their spending trends- Received a high-merit grade for our team’s work
