•Identify the 2016 City of Houston Summer Jobs Program cohort via an application screening process and deliver a comprehensive youth/young adult internship program in support of their educational, occupational, and personal growth. •Provide timely guidance and feedback to help participants prepare and initiate an action plan for career and educational success and future employment. •Engage participants in career assessment activities and discussions to evaluate the participant’s strengths, weaknesses, and interests in specific career fields or skill areas in an effort to encourage career decision-making and goal setting.
