I enjoy studying accounting because I am intrigued by the combination of data, problem solving, and decision making especially when it comes to business. I have always been curious as to how a business choose their financial decisions based upon data collected and interpreted by accountants. Developing knowledge in this major will help me pursue the goal of working in the audit and assurance sector of accounting. This is what I want to do because I find it noble to be able to present reasonable financial data to not only external users but internally as well.
