For more than 17 years, Emmanuel has been committed to developing " architecture and sensory design", a benevolent concept at the service of dependent populations. It is a question of imagining environments for people with autism and intellectual disability, but also with cognitive disorders: "On all my projects, the architectural expression (forms and layouts of spaces) is tuned to hyper-sensitivity or memory deficit, which implies reasoning contrary to our normality".Through conferences and round tables, Emmanuel Negroni forces awareness: “It is essential to build differently. We must adapt to their difference and not to its opposite. The environment is one of the essential aspects for improving behavior and well-being”.In 2018, Emmanuel opened an English boxing school, Le Ring Parisien, and developed a disabled boxing section for people with intellectual disabilities, which today has more than 40 members. These two heterogeneous activities oriented towards difference are intimately linked. The sensory architecture makes it possible to theorize the act, the disabled sport confronts it with the reality on the ground.Alongside these two activities, in 2021, he took over a “conventional” farm of 74 hectares in the south-west of France to transform it into an “agroecological system”. Implementation of biomax plant cover, companion plants, non-tillage, agroforestry and soil water management was completed to develop ABC (organic conservation agriculture).He has great determination. The living world (both animals and plants) is fascinating, and he likes to understand their interactions. Man acquires through the practice of his trades a wealth of personal solutions. In his view: “agriculture can, but also must, limit its impact on the environment and restore biodiversity and soil fertility”.Agroecology or regenerative agriculture is part of the response to reducing greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale. It is part of an innovative environmental approach for a better world.
