The team makes sure that our earners have the best experience, starting from acquisition and onboarding and continuing through delivering and getting paid.

Taking a breather

Came to Ticketfly via acquisition of WillCall. Our team was in charge of enhancing the ticket purchasing experience by improving the existing web flow & building new products.• Performed qualitative and quantitative research to determine user pain points that informed what to build as well as what order to build things in.• Defined product strategy, product roadmaps and product requirements for consumer products.• Led a core team of 8 engineers and 2 designers responsible for building the first iOS ticket purchasing app in the company’s history.• Expanded the core team to a cross functional engineering team, responsible for refactoring a monolithic back-end into api driven micro services that enabled our mobile development efforts.• Led a cross functional go-to-market team that included product marketing, marketing, sales and customer support.• Participated in executive team meetings to report on progress and make sure that what we were planning met the overall company objectives.• Created product lifecycle processes to improve product management across the organization.

• Built growth and social features that increased our user referrals by 25%.• Worked closely with the CEO to define product strategy, develop roadmaps, and set business goals for the company.• Led a team of 4 engineers and 1 designer that built a B2B point of sale iPad app, native consumer iOS and android ticket purchasing apps, and a web purchasing experience.• Led weekly sprints, created user stories, prioritized features and reviewed wireframes for our entire product suite.

Co-founded a location based social app that facilitated easy group meet-ups.• Created an MVP in 2 months that we used to test our main hypothesis and raise a seed round of funding.• Built a back-end on rails and node.js, including a socket server that allowed us to build features like chat and location tracking.• Hired a designer and an engineer and then managed their day to day product duties. This included rapid prototyping and iteration as well as prioritization of features and improvements.• Heavily involved in marketing efforts to acquire new users. Worked on some digital ad copy and imagery.

Product focused software engineer on two of Zynga’s biggest hits: Yoville and Mafia wars.• Built features for games that were used by millions of people daily.• Helped one of or games (YoVille) become our top grossing game for 2 consecutive quarters.• Worked closely with my PM to develop some of my own features based on the goals we wanted to achieve for the quarter. • Became pod engineering lead and was point of contact between engineering and product.

Worked at the Distributed Multimedia Information Systems lab as a research assistant while completing my Master's degree. Also began work on my PHD thesis but dropped out midway to pursue my dream of building a company.
