I served in different Capacities under the Ministry of internal Security as director of planning, Cooperation and Research and transferred as Director of Nyanza and Muhanga Prison, Director of Planning and Production, National Prisons service. I Participated in the restructuring and reforms that led to the merger of National Prisons Services with TIG forming Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS) in 2011. Subsequently, was appointed Acting Commissioner of Corrections, rehabilitation and Cooperation: a post held until nominated and seconded to UNMISS South Sudan as a Corrections advisor at the in September 2012.
