With over a decade of experience at Caterpillar Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, I am a Data Scientist and a Data Science and Automation Leader for the Technical Services division of the Thiruvallur facility. I have a strong background in global purchasing, supplier quality assurance, and heavy fabrication, which enables me to understand and improve the end-to-end processes and outcomes of the company's products and services.My core competencies include data analysis, machine learning, process improvement, and supplier quality engineering. I use these skills to leverage data-driven insights and solutions to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and innovation. I have successfully completed multiple data science and automation projects, such as developing a predictive model for supplier quality performance, automating the supplier rating system, and creating a dashboard for monitoring and reporting key performance indicators.
