In school I take large interest in the medical field, taking classes like Principles of Biomedical, Physiology, Health, and Anatomy & Physiology. The classes expands my learning on the human body and motivates me into pursuing a job in medicine. I have learned things such as taking blood, how the body systems are interconnected, and the intricate parts of the human body to which helps a person survive and adapt. Entering my Senior year, I will be taking Honors Medical Interventions as I plan to major in nursing in college.Outside of school, I lead my volunteering group and my swim team as I am both the Team Captain and the Head Chairman of both groups. This being my 2nd year as Team Captain and being the former Treasurer, I already had experience holding big positions; I communicate well with my peers, work well under pressure, and demonstrate leadership. I have participated in flying out to Boston for the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists my Sophomore year; Freshman year I was tutored under UCLA students who taught me the injustices of the medical field and had me present in a symposium.In my personal time I enjoy doing activities such as swimming, singing, watching movies, or hanging out with my friends. I like to take care of stray animals and feed them, as well as take care of my grandma. In the future I want to help as many people as I can.
