At Global Affairs Canada, I led GAC’s engagement with the Executive Office of the Secretary-General to the UN, the Global Environment Facility, and various international organizations to facilitate oceans initiatives under the G7 Oceans Plastics Charter. In my role, I developed and negotiated multi-country development projects (valued up to $20M) that assisted developing countries and island states in reducing ocean plastics. I was also an advisor to Canada's Council Member to the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

In 2017, I spearheaded a monthly speaker series program promoting McGill’s leading sustainability research to undergraduate students. The program was a success, and transformed into a community of like-minded students, PhD candidates, and faculty providing youth with professional opportunities and networks. While holding co-presidency for the first two years, the Network expanded to include partnerships with global NGOs, international research initiatives, and mentorship programs. It is still operating today.

In my role with with the Common Services sector of Citizenship and Immigration Canada New York, I lead clerical and analytical work, including: - Supporting the admissibility assessment program by examining and analyzing American police certificates, FBI records, to determine what were the equivalent offence(s) and under what statute, if committed in Canada, in accordance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act 2002. - Assessing applicant job descriptions to determine equivalent under the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) system- Creating and verifying client files from received applications by inputting data into a global database

In my role with the Common Services sector UK Visas and Immigration New York, my primary responsibility was performing data clearance and entry, while: - Using a variety of software packages to produce correspondence and documents, and to maintain records- Entering data precisely and efficiently - Handling sensitive documents and personal information- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts- Proficiency in the process, policy and procedure surrounding UK visa application and decision-making processes
