My name is Emma Renfro. I am a Computer Information Systems graduate from the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at Murray State University. In May 2022, I moved to Dallas, Texas to intern with Amazon and begin my transition into a career. I have now spent a year at Amazon’s FTW5 fulfillment center as an Area Manager, and have received my promotion to Area Manager II. In my time at Murray State, I served in many leadership capacities to enrich myself and those around me. During my senior year, I served as the President of the Murray State Student Ambassadors, Vice President of the Omega Rho chapter of the Order of Omega Greek honor society, served as the Graphic Design Chairman of the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha, and was an SGA Senator for the College of Business. I also served in many other leadership capacities with numerous on-campus organizations throughout my college career. I am the recipient of the 2022 MSU Who's Who award, MSU Trustee Scholarship, as well as the Robert McCann Scholarship. I was also selected as Top 15 in the 2021 Ms. Murray State Scholarship pageant.In the summer of 2021, I completed a 10-week internship with Amazon. I was an Area Manager Intern in the ICQA department at the CHA1 fulfillment center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. During my time with Amazon, I was able to work in process each day, as well as work on a project for the duration of my internship. This experience allowed me to showcase my strengths such as data analysis and communication. Overall, this experience helped to strengthen my foundation as a soon-to-be college graduate. This summer, I returned to work with Amazon in Forney, Texas at their FTW5 fulfillment center in the ICQA department. I have now established a career in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex at Amazon’s FTW5 fulfillment center in Forney. I look forward to where this will take me.
