Emma Reynolds-Middleton has over 25 yrs’ experience working in finance, budgeting, program operation and administration, quality assurance, leadership, and workforce development in the federal and state government, and in the construction industry. She led teams and was responsible for financial operations in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves as a Finance Officer for 10 years in South Korea, Kansas, South Carolina, and in Georgia. After her years in the armed forces, Emma worked in the construction industry tracking construction projects and gathered pre-bid construction data for projects in New York. She then moved on to work in state government at the GA. DOL and GA. Industries for the Blind. Following that time, Emma worked in various administrative positions at the CDC for nearly 15 years.At the same time, teaching and community engagement has always been Emma’s passion. She taught pro bono classes in communication, self-esteem, financial literacy, and other soft skills to adults, young adults, teens, and youth for as long as she was in the workforce. In the spring term of 2016, Emma joined Phila. College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) GA, in the School of Professional and Applied Psychology, the Organizational Development and Leadership Graduate Program as an Adjunct Faculty teaching Team Dynamics and Communication for Leaders to graduate students seeking their Master of Science degrees in Biomedical Sciences. Since then, Emma formed her business, Soft Skills Zone, LLC (www.softskillszone.com) and resigned from her employment.Emma received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Florida International University, her Master of Arts in Business from Webster University, and Doctorate of Christian Leadership and Management from Kingdom Covenant Leadership Institute. She’s a certified Human Behavior Consultant and is a Certified DISC Facilitator. Emma is a Coles College Certified Managerial Coach (CMC) from the training received at Kennesaw State University. Most recently, she's a Certified Capture Manager.
